Configure alchemy MySQL API

References to Modify

There are a few parameters in one file you need to modify. Open eLib/envvars.php and change the following parameters specific for your webserver implementation:

• $dns
• $fw_db
• $fw_logon
• $fw_password

The api will work on windows or linux.

I am assuming that you have some knowledge of creating MySQL databases and tables. If you want to implement the test data you will find the "create table" code and the data to load under the sampledata directory in the zip file.

What else is included

• A zip will all the files needed to implement the api. The root directory is named sandbox.
• The test data and schema used.
• All the code needed to use the grid control.
• A text example (testdbio.php) which tests the api functions and provides a simple example for using the gird control.
